Warm sunshine and a pleasant force 2 to 3 wind greeted the fleet of Enterprises for the Enterprise Double Chine event sponsored by Speed Sails.

Martin & Janice Bottomley led round the windward mark followed by Len Moult & Jackie Davies. In the shifty wind the beats and runs gave plenty of opportunity for changing places. By the second lap Jane and Nick Scutt had taken the lead with Martin Stott & Simon Ray Jones second. Jane and Nick pulled away finishing first with Martin and Simon 2nd and Bob & Debbie Tuckwood 3rd.

The second race saw Phil and Rebecca Kilburn have a cracking start off the port end for race two and were first to the mark. Despite pressure from Jane and Nick they finished 1st. The racing was tight behind with Mike Cossey & Christine Barron taking 3rd place.

The third race again saw a good port end start but this time by the Tuckwoods who led at the mark. However, despite a good lead they didn't hold onto 1st place. As the wind died Mike Cossey & Christine Barron along with Len Moult & Jackie Davies caught them, getting through downwind on the final lap. At the end of a splendid days sailing it was the wife and husband team of Jane & Nick Scutt who took home the Silver Salver.

Final Positions 1st Jane and Nick Scutt ( Middle Nene) 3pts; 2nd Mike Cossey and Christine Barron (Tamworth) 4pts; 3rd Len Moult and Christine Davies (Notts County) 6pts; 4th Bob and Debbie Tuckwood (Notts County) 6pts 5th Phil and Rebecca Kilburn (Notts County) 7pts 6th Martin Stott and Simon Ray Jones (Notts County) 7pts.
