Wow! What a day, tiring but immensly rewarding for those that helped.

I don't think I have ever seem the club quite so busy since our opening.

There was no where to park, many had to double park, and there where smiles all round in the light breeze and warm conditions. A perfect way to introduce newcomers to the pleasures of sailing & windsurfing in all its forms.

In the afternoon I counted 55 boats on the water with 15 on the bank on the main lake and 10 windsurfers on the training lake. Along with hundreds of visitors and something like 50-60 club volunteers it was busy.

Thanks to all who came down to help all those on the bar, galley, taking names, taking people out, intructors and safety cover - everyone played their part.

I think we shall find membership fills up rapidly to maximum numbers, nd any courses will be full, it looks as though there will be an extra windsurfing course.
