Laser Race Training Report 15 regular laser sailors from the club came together during the sunny bank holiday period for laser race training.

Jon Emmett, a professional sailor and reining Laser Radial national champion came from Weymouth to coach the fleet on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May. He was able to tell us where we were going wrong and give us pointers on how to improve. He organised exercises of starting on a small start line and boat handling sessions.

On the Monday we did match and team racing, then had a large fleet style race to round the whole event off. All in all, a lot learnt and a great way to bring the fleet together.
