Lawrence Logan has been selected for the RYA North Zone Topper training squad. This is a great effort after some difficult (light or no wind) selection events including the RYA Zone Championships at Notts County in September. He will be one of the youngest members of the squad and it will be a great experience for him to spend 6 weekends over the next 6 months or so training with the RYA coaches and the other dozen members of the squad.

Emily Hall has been selected for the RYA North Zone Windsurfing Zone Squad, following her win at the Nationals, and attendece at many recent events with Jim & Julie.

Ken Twemlow's (Commodore) daughter daughter Kathryn has been invited to join the RYA's National Transition Squad for 29'ers. This squad is for the most promising teams moving into the Youth classes at age 15.

Kathryn was also 1st under 16 crew (boy or girl) on the 29er grand prix circuit this year.
Who next ? - we have lots of talent at the club and will be trying to encourage as many who want to improve. There are Race Coaches available, and we are hoping to set up some regular sessions. Please contact us if you are interested.
