Dear All.
The Spring Regatta will take place over the last bank holiday weekend in May 2007. There is a full programme of entertainment, sailing and racing. However, for those who do not wish to purchase a ticket please note this is an Open Weekend and so access to the water will be restricted when other events are taking place and will be subject to the permission of the race officer just like any other open event.

Tickets are limited to 200 entrants (including juniors) and so demand on the water will be high, priority will be given to those who have bought a ticket for the event for water use. If you want to take part in any part of the programme the cost is £25-00 per adult and £15-00 per child under the age of 17 years. This cost covers, live music Friday and Saturday nights, a kids disco followed by an adult disco Sunday night. Regatta Cup, Commodores Cup, Class Racing and Junior race Saturday and Sunday with a night race Saturday night. Sunday is the same racing programme but without the Regatta Cup. Two meals are included in the price, one by outside caterers on Saturday and a Bar BQ on Sunday. In addition there is entertainment for children and a boat building competition and camping.

We would encourage you to participate in the whole event as it is felt the programme offers very good value for money. However, should you only wish to attend the social functions without food in the evening tickets are £5-00 a head.

Tickets are on sale behind the bar at the club. There are no day reductions or other reductions, the cost is the same for what ever part of the event you wish to take part in. This event is run by volunteers from the club and fleets will take turns in staffing the bar over the weekend, if you attend and are a club member then it is expected you will contribute at some time to your fleets duty.
