Slideshow of photos - full results Notts County windsurfers enjoyed some interesting conditions at their open, with Steve Mace winning the adult Raceboard class, and coming in second team in the Team 15 racing at the club. The juniors in Team 15 did very well, especially in the large 4.5 sq m class, with a second and third from Emily Hall, Daniel Wilson & Rebecca Ogden (who was entering her first windsurfing open). Rachael Glendening was forth in the 5.5 and Emma Wilson third in the 3.5. The Notts County Windsurfing open saw a reduced number of adults taking part due to clashing with a National event, however the junior Team 15 fleet was very impressive with nearly thirty entrants, and some good close racing over the course in front of the clubhouse, run by Ben Hodgson the Team 15 co-ordinator for the Midlands area. By far the largest fleet was the 4.5 with eleven entries. The 3.5 fleet saw Robert York (Rutland), Alice Butts (Rutland), and Emma Wilson (Notts County) all win a race, Robert won the most and won overall. The 4.5 saw Matt Leahy (Carsington) win the most races, however Emily Hall (Notts County) & Luke Taylor (Pitsford) also won races. Jade Rogers (Carsington) had a string of firsts in the 5.5 fleet as did Edward Colin (Carsington) in the 6.8 fleet. The Raceboard class saw Steve Mace take every race with Ian Pilkington second and Steve Payne third, first lady was Julie Hall. Over lunchtime a beginners race was held for some of the windsurfers who ad recently learnt, Marie Chapman won. The event finished with a prizegiving with additional prizes from Nobles Windsurfing and Tushingham, followed by a meal in the clubhouse. Results:
