1st November wind
After last weeks wind and warmth it seemed a bit improbable there would be a second sunday of wind. It didn't start very promising rain a few gusts, then about 11.30pm it cleared and some white horses appeared, it was time for a rigging frenzy, and with only a few dinghies braving the squalls the water was soon populated by a good number of windsurfers.
The winds gusted 35mph a good solid 7 and possibly 8 at times, so it was no wonder the second race was cancelled.
Speeds of up to 31.9 knots recorded (35mph) with some good ong reaches.
