Sunny, warm for late October and gusts of 20-30mph, it was going to be interesting. With the clocks going back there were quite a few early bird windsurfers. sailing at speeds of up to 30 knots in the white horse covered lake.

Then it was race time, and there was only one person making it look easy, Keven Hope sailed round the course as if it was a gentle afternoon cruise, whilst many broached, or capsized. There were a few less entering the second race when it calmed down considereably.
