Louise Clayton Triathalon
Louise finished the Triathalon, with a good result for the team, they were against professionals.
She writes" Anyway the important bit is we had fun, missed the rain just and i have raised nearly £500 pounds for Macmillan. £215 on the just giving site and nearly £300 in cash. Both are still rising and people can still donate to."

My Auntie was diagnosed with a tumour in her stomach in Feb. This summer she has undergone radiotherapy and brachiotherapy - so far so good she is doing well we are all keeping our fingers crossed and keeping positive.
I also have spent the last 4 months working on intensive care and the general medicine wards at Nottingham city hospital. A large proportion of the patients had cancer in its various forms. It gave me a huge insight to the effects cancer has on all of us and the importance of having a good support mechanisms. Even just having someone to talk to.
My mate's dad is also fighting a loosing battle with prostate cancer. Since i signed up to do this tri and started fundraising for Macmillan several members of the club have also been diagnosed.
the list goes on..... we all know someone who is dealing with cancer,
that big scary word!!!!! And each of them will need support not just for one day but throughout
