Spring Regatta - initial programme
28th to 30th May 2011
So what's happening?
This year is like last year except class & Commodores cup reveresed to allow prizegiving to be speeded up, the Regatta Cup is aimed at novices, ie Tuesday night & Novice Saturday sailors, fancy dress and non class (ie more crew etc) we would also like crews and the like to try helming if they wish. In principle helms in the results in the Commodore's Cup and Class Racing will not have their results counted.(the organising committees decision will be final in this cup).
Meal tickets are available for each night, so those who don't want to race, or 'other halfs' can join in the social side. The price of these covers the food and entertainment. Entertainment tickets do not include food.
We also hope to have some more activities for children such as colouring in, treasure hunts, possibly a junior disco, and of course the Boat Building competition on Monday whilst results are worked out.
