Techno Training NCSC 2011
The Techno class is the feeder for the Olympic RS class (where UK has very high hopes for next year in the Olympics with East Midlands Sailor Nick Dempsey and also Briony Shaw). Both The Halls & Coghills are heavily involved in the class and ensured the event went well their daugther & son, both well known Notts County Sailors Emily Hall & Cameron Coghill in the national squads. Two more Notts County sailors who joined in the training were Harry Belamy & Soloman Eves from the club and over 30 other young Techno sailors from the North of the Country.
Ian Roberts an RYA Coach led the team dispensing advice and looking out for potential youngsters for the zone squads. One parent made Paulene's day on saturday night by saying it was the best meal he had at a sailing club (something I would agree with). Ultrasport the importers director Gordon Way and brand manager came down to look and provide some goodies for Ian to give out.
