The RS's appeared with a number of hangovers, and none braved the wind - not suprising as only laser, a topper (Jeremy), flying 15 and Wayfarer survived (and the 15 broached and many lasers capsized). It gusted up to 41 mph, but regular 30-35mph gusts where recorded after lulls nearer 10mph, many windsurfers ended up opting for their smallest sails.

The Raceboards went out but many decided it was too much. Guy however cruised around on a 7.8 then 5.5 sq m whilst Ian managed some interesting walking (see photo) and an atempted loop!

Richard Mason won the lasers cruising round whilst most who went out finished.
