are some of the offending boats (as of 5/1/12)

It is suggested everyone checks thier boats, if you need contact details of the boats which have blown over we will try and provide them, but also leave a note on the offending boat and take details if your boat has been damaged by them. It is of course the every boat owners responsibility to repair damage to thier own or other boats, and to ensure thier boat is left properly tied down.

Please make sure you check your boat is properly secured to the tie downs provided by the club, find them if they are not obvious as every dediucated space has a tie down shared with the next boat. none that we know of have failed to date. Use adequate rope in good condition, and tie so that the rope can't slip and allow the boat to tip over, opening flaps etc is also a good idea in case of floods, or better still take your boat home to the safety of your own property.

Leaving boats on trailers is not adequate if they are not securly tied down.
