Enterprise fleet
Welcome to the Notts County Sailing Club Enterprise Fleet. We are a friendly fleet with a wide range of members including beginners and very experienced sailors. The Enterprise is an excellent dinghy for novice sailors and our experienced helms are always willing to give support with boat set up, sailing tips and racing advice.
The recognisable blue sail marks the Enterprise dinghy. Designed over 50 years ago, the Enterprise’s simple two-sail design makes it an ideal boat for all-comers. Great in light winds but challenging in a blow it is suited to cruisers and keen racers, as well as novices and children. An ideal boat to start racing in but also to potter on the water, the Enterprise fleet prides itself in welcoming new members of all abilities into NCSC racing and social events. It is one of the largest fleets in the club, with over 40 boats and a wide variety of members of all ages 8-80.

The social scene attracts people from all fleets and a warm welcome is extended to anyone on the water who wants to go blue.
If you would like to find out more about the fleet, who to contact for advice on your boat or how to get involved in social events, cruising or racing, please contact Jackie Hewlett-Davies (Fleet Captain) on 07799337725 or simply feel free to approach anyone with blue sails down at the club who will be more than happy to give a friendly hand, offer advice or simply be up for a race!
