Windsurfing 2011

The club has an active windsurfing fleet, is an RYA recognised Teaching establishment up to advanced.

Wednesday night:
Pauline will be cooking (with possible exception of August if Numbers fall off). We will have some coaching sessions, and we are determined to try and get some sort of competition off the ground, this may include 'Beat the Stig' and slalom as well as traditional round the cans. Adult & Junior Participation is the key. This will start at 6.30pm and food will be available afterwards.

On Sundays there is a core group racing on raceboards and they welcome newcomers, and will help with kit, tuition and encouragement, so don't be shy, you can always practise on Wednesday. This is growing year on year, and this year we hope to have a 7.5 and unlimited class. (partially to give the older members a reasonable chance).

We also have a large cruising element, who will normally be down anytime there is wind, March to Sept, not sure where they get the time off from ... you can therfore be fairly sure on someone else being down in windy conditions.

Speed ladder: Last year saw the start of a speed ladder, won by the website editor, there are two gps in waterproof aquapacs, for a one off £10 fee you can join the ladder.
