Notts County Sailing Club has two lakes.
The Main Lake is used for Racing & crusing by both dinghies & windsurfers. It is about 150 acres and has clear wind from the South West round to the North East. The adjacent hill allows the wind to funnel, giving good winds in many directions.
The Training lake is much smaller allowing youngsters and those learning to try their skills on a much easier stretch of water, giving confidence.
Water depth is sufficent for a Flying Fifteen, over the entire lake.
There are three slipways, including one for larger boats with a fixed landing stage. Text
