FROSTBITE/OAKLEAF SERIES
Due to the adverse weather conditions over the past four weeks we have been unable to race. As a result of this the qualifying/counting races for both series for dinghies has been amended in line with the laid down sailing instructions.
The sailing instructions state that the qualifying criteria will be 50% of sailable races.
We have been able to sail six races for each series; therefore qualifying/counting races are now three.for both the Frostbite Pursuit and Oakleaf series.
For the windsurfers, whose frostbite series consists of two races each Sunday, they have lost a total of eight sailable races from a maximum of twenty. Therefore the windsurfers qualifying races has been reduced to six .
Any queries to the published results should be directed to myself before 31st December. Otherwise the published results will stand.
