Method

Introduce new members encourage them to participate in racing.
Hold special events to involve members in the sport & club
Evening for novices with lectures, technique sessions, and races for novices.
Provide competently run racing, at regular times.
Club classes limited to 7, the remainder in handicap fleets (review on regular basis)
Provide race training to improve standards
Provide One design racing, Match & Team in single hander and twin hander to allow development of racing skills. Provide training and advice for Race Officers.
Provide training for other duty crew and Safety crew and ensure they attend
Provide open meetings as target and to increase standard of competition in club.
Encourage attendance at Regional & National training events
Encourage Parents to participate in youth training and to learn themselves (so providing transport for youngsters and the helpers required allowing training schemes to develop)
Encourage youngsters to become Instructors, ODs, Race Coaches, running courses for other youngsters
Encourage and establish Junior Racing & Training in Oppies, Toppers, Lasers & 405 (dinghies) and Aloha/ Calypso, & Raceboard for windsurfing.
Review sailing instructions on annual basis to keep up to date

Target

Racing for Windsurfing & Dinghy Sailing, with good turnouts in all fleets.
Increase in novice racing to feed through to Thursday & Sunday dinghy racing.
Provide new Training boats which should be modern to encourage all dinghy sailors with centre main and have asymmetric to encourage youngsters, give beginners confidence in new boats,
Provide match & team racing in identical hulls to increase standards & provide another facet of the sport at the club, using new training boats
Have Race Training in either Oppies or Toppers and 405s and Alohas at Club
Host Regional & National events for RYA, Juniors, Schools & class Associations, hold annual junior Open Meeting

Numbers in Novices racing.
Numbers transferring through to main handicap and class racing on Thursday and Sunday. Review annually
