Windsurfing Courses

 

Adult Level 1 Course or Level 2 & 4 course or Team 15 (junior windsurfing)

Dinghy course

The club has Motion, Maxx, Matrix & Bic Techno & Start Boards and a large variety of rigs, along with wetsuits, bouyancy aids and a windsurfiing simulator. This allows us to teach to RYA Level 4 or 5. The courses are split into two or three hour sessions to enable those learning to take in all the information. An RYA illustrated logbook with photos and reminders of the course contents is included in the cost.

 

A typical Adult course may run as follows (weather providing)

Day 1: Theory on simulator, approx 1 hour on water, most students will be able to sail across the training lake on this first day.

Day 2: Going to windward, theory and turning the board.

Day 3: Sailing a triangular course so you can sail in any direction in light winds, complete thoery.
