This year we thought we would make the Speed Challenge more interesting, especially as many now have thier own GPS. The two club one is also still available.

This year we thought we would have a main trophey for a speed series. Whilst we will keep the present fastest over 2 seconds, we want everyone to send thier runs in and then we will score 1 point for fastest of the month, 2 for second etc. At the end of the year we shall have say 3 monthly discards, and the person with the lowest score wins. If there are ties then the fastest overal speed will decide the winner or place.

So starting March 1st send in your speeds, we will expect a file of your fastest time to be available. In some months this may well be in the low twenties.

Rules will be as GPS speedsurfing - equipment link - rules - if there is any need to sapply them (hasn't been yet!!) For 2012 we are looking to only use the club type GT31 to allow doppler correction.

Send the results to the club website and I will update the sheet regularly.
