As part of our Club’s community outreach and RYA OnBoard initiatives we are pleased to host occasional school visits.

Carnarvon School in Bingham visited last week, in almost perfect condition (light winds, sunny and calm) and just under 70 children went sailing, split into  morning and afternoon sessions

The Training Section and the wider club organised the event in conjunction with the Head and Teachers from the school and it was lovely to see so many helpers and instructors as well as of course the children with smiles, laughter and fun on the water. We hope this will introduce young people (and their parents and teachers) to the wonderful sport of sailing.
