NCSC welcomes new members throughout the year and holds an annual Open Day, under RYA Discover Sailing, when prospective members can see what the club has to offer.
However, you are welcome to visit the Club at any time during the open season. The best time to come along is when the Club is most vibrant on a Saturday morning, Tuesday or Thursday evening or Sunday after racing around 15.00. It is advisable to contact membership membership@ncsc.org.uk in advance to agree a convenient day and time so we can make sure someone is available to show you round and answer any questions.
If you feel that NCSC is the right place for you and offers the type of activities you would like to engage in, then we would be delighted for you to join us.
In order to join it is best if you have spoken to a current member or a member of the Executive Committee to ensure that you have had all your questions answered. Check out the FAQ and make sure that you have understood the ethos of joining NCSC. As a Club we do have a Constitution and Rules for all users which all members need to be familiar with. NCSC is a club run by members for members, and as such it is expected that members volunteer for duties during the course of a year. Please review these before joining us.
Details of the fees and joining can be found here. Complete the application form indicating the category of membership you require. Please ensure that you add all those to be included on your membership along with their email addresses. Once completed send the form to the Membership Secretary email: membership@ncsc.org.uk.
Do not send any monies until your application is confirmed and the appropriate fees agreed.
If you decide to Join the RYA (Royal Yachting Association), please add our Joining point code 008100802, thankyou. As of 2025 you can get 3rd party insurance for windsurfing and SUP by joining just put your primary interest as windsurfing.
