Its been a whirlwind 3 days!
Months of training and planning.
We travelled to the IBSA under 18 Regatta in Antibe.
Logan with the para pathway volunteers have coached, trained and encouraged these amazing individuals to this event. 1 young man only started racing in April and at the time wasnt too sure!
Sitting on the shore watching the racing was a different view for Logan who due to his health hasnt raced this year and for this event has aged out! So supported as their coach
The 1st day was a practice. For 2 of the young chaps it was their first time on the sea.
Day 2 Mother Nature decided it wasnt to be and the waves were 3 metres+. So we explored and spent time as a team.
Day 3 was the big day!
It ended up being emotional for everyone involved who has watched these kids blossom.
We came home with a 1st and 3rd place out of 49 teams!!
How awesome is that????
Proud of every single 1 of them for facing fears, challenges and not giving up when it got tough!
Logan im super proud that despite everything that gets thrown at you with your health, you continue to want to advocate for others support their development and support them all the way. Look at the results!!!!!!
