Safe & Fun - Safeguarding course

The Club considers safeguarding an important issue. The safeguarding and other club policies are here. Please read this before taking the course.

The Executive Committee will be asking those with regular contact with youngsters or vulnerable adults to take the RYA’s interactive Safeguarding Training, Safe and Fun or send us their Safe & Fun certificate. This will include all instructors, YRS, Sailability and Saturday Club helpers and coaches.

The club will fund members who take it (through the club booking system), so we ask you to state your purpose and or the person who recommended you to do the course on the booking form. The minimum age is 16. Please ensure your email will receive communications from RYA Interactive and ourselves to allow you to proceed.

Others are welcome to take the course, the booking system will ask for payment in this case.
