The tern raft has arrived and is in position, thanks to the birdwatchers, Dean, Ian and Peter. It has been funded through the Notts Wildlife Trust Species Survival Fund. Let’s hope the terns are successful, the raft is mink and otter proof (they can’t climb the sides) and terns are in decline, only one has been spotted so far this year.

Following that the windsurfers were out for a sail, and the bar opened, with Debs and Maddy providing food for just over 20 windsurfers.
