We are vey sad to announce Ken Heap died recently.

He was a stalwart of the training section, joining in 2016 and becoming a dinghy instructor, helping out as an instructor on many junior courses, school days, Sailability events and much more.

He lived locally in Upton and was a regular at Southwell Bowls club.

Ken crewed a F15 for John Handley for many years.

He was a lovely man, always smiling and enjoying sailing.

He was also a regular with the “summer winers”.

He will be missed by many members, best wishes to his family.
