On Saturday 9 April spring had returned to Notts Country Sailing Club. The sun shone and it was a perfect day to learn all about Scorpions, at the Scorpion training day.

Nine different boats were represented. Nigel Potter of Paintcraft took the session, focusing on sail settings, controls and sail trimming before moving on to spinnakers. 

A big thank you to Nigel for taking the session. Thanks also to Matt Potter who came down to the club to hand grandchild over to grandparents for babysitting duties but very kindly rigged a new fleet members boat (Gybe Talking) so they could launch for the first time!!
